Clean Energy Walk in Learning Center is the facility established to provide short term on job training in the field of renewable energy based technology such as Repair and Maintenance of solar PV system (solar tukis, solar home system, solar water pumping etc), solar thermal system (solar dryer, solar water Heater, solar cooker, dehydration of fruits and vegetable etc), wind pumping system and drip and sprinkler irrigation system.
Philosophy, the "LIGHT FOR ALL" program is targeted to serve the rural community who do not have access to electrical lighting system and compelled to use kerosene based wicked lamp for evening lighting.
In rural communities, basically there are no infrastructure exist for technical back - up services such as repairing shops. Because of this reality, the Solar tukis designed and marketed by CRE under the Light for All campaign are designed very simple and can be easily repaired and maintained in rural locality with minimum tools.
Solar Tuki Repair and Maintenance training:
Local user is trained to assemble and repair the Solart Tuki unts. Duration of the basic training is structured for three days, where in first half day the trainer educates the trainee about basic expression of the electricity such as volt, ampere, power and wattage.
